Our company started as a result of members of the UK based Darjeeling Himalayan Railway Society (www.dhrs.org) wanting to visit the DHR and the Darjeeling area.
The society has over 800 members worldwide and as well as supporting the railway, it also supports community projects in the area to help the local people who live along the line. It has set up a charity called Darjeeling Railway Community Support (www.drcommunitysupport.org.uk) and we’re delighted to be able to have this as our “official” charity.
