In the afternoon, we’ll visit the “Halwais” where we’ll see traditional Indian sweets being made and sold. We’ll also see the Lassiwalas and Dal-pakodawalas at work: these are fantastic “roadside” treats for the locals in the winter months. The highlight of our visit to the region is tonight’s Royal Dinner in the private residence of the Maharaja of Jaipur, in the city palace compound. You’ll enjoy this royal reception with its camels, elephants, rose petals and fabulous food, fit for a king!
