Golden Chariot Luxury Rail
Golden Chariot, the luxury train owned by Karnataka State Tourism Development Corporation (KSTDC) commenced operations in 2008 and has been promoting various sites of tourist interest in Karnataka and other neighboring states. It is now managed & operated by Indian Railway Catering & Tourism Corporation Limited (under Ministry of Railways, Government of India). The train features 10 guest carriages with 80 pax capacity, two fine dining restaurants with seating capacity, Bar, Spa, Business Center and a Mini Gymnasium. Each guest carriage houses four guest rooms. Each guest room has ensuite bathroom with continuous hot and cold water supply. The itineraries are being planned to showcase the best of Karnataka state's history and rich culture to discerning travelers.
